Despite the fact that Charlie's Angels was originally geared towards adults, a toy boom exploded
for kids in 1977. The most popular of all the collectibles were the Charlie's Angels dolls! Kelly, Sabrina, &
Jill were recreated with incredible likenesses to their corresponding actresses; Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, and Farrah Fawcett
Majors.
When Farrah left the show, the Hasbro toy company wasted no time in generating a Kris Munroe
doll based on Cheryl Ladd. To accompany the dolls, an array of fashions was released, as was a doll van, town house,
and specialty sets featuring more costumes and gadgets.
By the time Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts had joined the cast, the show's popularity had
waned and there were no dolls created for their characters; Tiffany Welles and Julie Rogers. For decades I had wished
that these dolls existed. In 2008 a friend was looking at my Angels doll collection and put forth some incredible suggestions
and ideas to create my own Tiffany & Julie dolls. It took quite a bit of time and effort, but I'm very happy
with how the two figures came out. Now my Charlie's Angels doll collection is complete. Here are some photos I
thought I would share with visitors.
