What does one do after working for the most prestigious detective agency
in the country? If you're an Angel you are obviously very multi-faceted and can
go anywhere you want. Even though CHARLIE'S ANGELS had a decent final episode,
one must wonder what became of all six Angels, Charlie, and Bosley. The following
is pure speculation, but who's to say it couldn't have happened.
SABRINA DUNCAN
Sabrina met the man of her dreams while vacationing in Rome
in the summer of '79 ("Angels Remembered"). He was a wealthy archeologist who
fell in love with Sabrina the moment he laid eyes on her. Upon returning to the
states, Sabrina announced that she was getting married and quit the detective business.
Kelly, Kris, Jill, Bosley, and her father all attended the small ceremony and kissed Sabrina "good-bye". She left her Los Angeles apartment and moved to a colonial ranch home in
Westport, Connecticut. By 1982, Sabrina had given birth to two sons.
In 1987, her husband was killed in a freak accident in Cairo, Egypt. Sabrina took up writing mystery novels based on her experiences at Townsend Associates and is currently
a single and the mother of two teenage boys.
TIFFANY WELLES
When Tiffany returned home to visit her parents in the summer of 1980,
she realized she had fulfilled her ambitions of seeking action and adventure. After
notifying Charlie that she wouldn't be returning any time soon, Tiffany went on a five year tour of the world. She visited Turkey, Australia,
Europe, and even South America. While doing
so she kept a journal of her discoveries and in 1988 had it published to great reviews. The following year her father died
and left Tiffany his savings. She used the money to open up her own detective
agency in Springfield, Massachusetts. Welles Inc., is considered one of the best in the New England
area. In 1992, upon visiting Kelly in New
York, Tiffany met Sabrina and the two have become good friends.
CHARLIE TOWNSEND
Following Kelly's second near-fatal bullet wound to the head, Charlie gathered Julie, Kris,
and Bosley together and discussed the future of Townsend Associates. All of them
agreed that it wouldn't be the same without Kelly and decided to call it quits. Financially
helping Kelly throughout the years, Charlie has forged a wonderful friendship with his faithful Angel. He continues to lie in the lap of luxury, having sold all three Townsend offices in Paris,
Hawaii, and Beverly Hills. Even in his seventies, Charlie is still sexually active and still surrounded by nubile
young blondes.
KRIS MUNROE
Kris, like Tiffany, also toured the world after leaving Townsend
Associates. But not before seeing her sick friend Kelly recover from her injury. Hoping to fix the mistake she made, Kris tracked down Ted Markham, a one-time bank
robber with a heart of gold ("Angel on a Roll"). They met up in Spain and began traveling the globe. When Kris and Ted married in Paris, Jill
was the only Angel in attendance. In the late eighties Kris and Ted bought a
mountain hideaway in the Swiss Alps and reside there when they aren't seeing the sights.
Whenever Kris visits America, she
makes sure she sees all four of her former co-workers.
JILL MUNROE
Jill raced cars until 1987 and then moved in with a two-timing
aristocrat in the Netherlands. In her mid-thirties, Jill realized she still wasn't happy with her life. She went into therapy and came to terms with the fact that she had never had a good relationship with her
father, and therefore spent her life seeking out the perfect man. Instead of
dealing with her problems, Jill would always run away from them, looking for new thrills and excitement along the way. Richer than any Angel could hope to be, Jill left her aristocrat and joined a missionary
in Liberia, Africa. Today, Jill lives a much more simplistic lifestyle and has moved back into her California beach house. After the death of
her fiancée' in 1978 ("Angel Come Home"), she vowed never to marry and still hasn't.
Based on her previous racing status in the early eighties, Jill is often photographed attending a premiere with a handsome
actor or mingling with guests at the hottest social parties on the west coast.
JULIE ROGERS
Julie Rogers left Townsend Associates with a new lease
on life. She re-entered the modeling business, and now, even at the age of forty,
she is considered one of the top models in the world. When the supermodel explosion
took off in the early 90s, Julie Rogers was still shining in the spotlight. She
has acquired a great deal of wealth, but instead of keeping it all for herself, she has set up shelters for battered women
and children, as well as runaway teenagers. She is still extremely close with
Kelly, who often assists her in these side ventures. Julie has been featured
in a few small movie roles here and there, but mostly works the fashion show
and advertising circuit. She has remained single and has never been publicly
linked to anyone!
JOHN BOSLEY
John Bosley was devastated by Kelly's injury and was relieved to hear that Charlie wanted to close down the business. Over the years he had become very close to Kris, Sabrina, and Julie, but out of all
of them, Kelly was the most special to him. They had been partners for five years
and Bosley just couldn't have taken another tragedy in Kelly's life. With the
help of Charlie, Kris, and Julie, Bosley helped Kelly recover and after she had done so, he decided to get out of the detective
business once and for all. It was no secret that Bosley had squandered every
dime and pinched every penny he had ever made. Using his life savings, Bosley
moved to Hawaii and opened up an adult entertainment nightclub. Featuring Hawaii's most beautiful women, Bosley has
become somewhat of a legend in Waikiki. Hoping
to get all six Angels together again, Bosley threw a huge blast at his club.
Unfortunately, Jill and Tiffany could not make it. Bosley has become sort
of an uncle to Sabrina's sons and is the father Julie and Kelly never had. Now
in his 60s, Bosley has married an elegant widow and is living a wonderful life, almost equivalent to Charlie's.
KELLY GARRETT
Happiness still eludes Kelly even to this day. She swore off men after her lover Bill Cord died in 1980 ("One Love Two Angels"), but does date friends
of Julie's and Jill's on occasion. After recovering from her second gunshot wound,
Kelly realized just how miserable her life was. She entered psychiatric counseling
and was forced to face the horrifying remnants of her childhood. They first thing
she did was look up her evil matron, Beemish. Flying off to Georgia with Bosley in 1984, Kelly confronted the withered
old Beemish in a nursing home. Crying tears of pain, Kelly exorcised her demons
of being locked in a closet by the evil woman. Beemish, an invalid at this point,
remained stone faced and did not reveal any indication of guilt during Kelly's confrontation.
When Beemish died three days later, Kelly became emotionally depressed while believing she had something to do with
it.
When Sabrina's
husband died, Kelly spent six months with the widowed Angel at her Connecticut
home and became very close to Sabrina's boys. Kelly's happiest moments are when
she is doing volunteer work for the community or helping Julie open up a new shelter somewhere. Financially, Kelly has been aided by Charlie. She is the only
Angel who has actually seen him face to face thus far. Today, Kelly spends her
days shopping with Jill, visiting Sabrina and talking for hours on the phone to Tiffany.
Her hobbies are needlepoint and tending to a massive garden. In her forties,
Kelly has recovered remarkably well from her past. Still, she spends many lonely
nights crying herself to sleep.

please note that this was written in 1995, before the theatrical film versions of Charlie's Angels were released. Although
I realize they allege to continue on the legacy of Charles Townsend Investigations, I have not seen these films nor plan to
based on the previews I saw. Thus I will continue to imagine this is what happened to the real Angels.
