Angel Clues:

*Kris's beach house address is 28124

*Jill tells Ferrino that she is an "investigator on leave".

*The character of Jill Munroe is nothing like the one that worked at Townsend Associates two years ago.  Jill doesn't giggle or joke like she once did.  Nor does she wear revealing clothes at all.  It is Kris that sports all the cleavage in this episode!

*This was the first episode in which Cheryl Ladd would come face to face with her famous predecessor, Farrah Fawcett!  Ladd told People Weekly of the first day of taping.  "Everyone was waiting for something to happen.  Everyone thought that hostility and jealousy would surface.  So I went over to Farrah and whispered in her ear, and she giggled and said, 'Let's do it!'  Farrah ran toward me with her arms outstretched and I toward her -only when it came time for the clench, we just kept on running in opposite directions.  It absolutely broke everyone up. From then on they realized there weren't going to be any fireworks!"

*Jamie Lee Curtis would go on to star in a few of John Carpenter’s classic horror films like ‘Halloween’ and ‘The Fog’ before becoming a Hollywood superstar in the 1980s and 1990s.  Her father, Tony Curtis, had recently appeared with Jaclyn Smith in ‘The Users’.

*Jill still seems to own her beach house even though she spends most of  her time out of the country.

*In a 1994 interview with PEOPLE magazine, Farrah Fawcett revealed that she requested more realism in the show by telling her bosses, "Wouldn't it be great if in one show I took Kate and Jaclyn home with me and they met my parents, and we explored the possibilities of these girls as friends...."  Although the Angels vacationed together before ("Angel on a String"), this would be the one and only time they met any of the other's family.

*KBEX was also the name of the radio station Kelly went undercover at while pretending to be a threatened reporter in "Angels on the Air".

*Kelly has her nerve!  She has taken Charlie's credit card and has gone out and bought all of the Angels new clothes!!  Considering the fact that the new wardrobe is not in bags or boxes, but in a suitcase (with no hangers), it may seem that she got a brainstorm from this caper and went out and really robbed a store!!

The Angels fly to Vale, Colorado to protect a young politician from a international terrorists.

Undercover Angels:

Bosley is Elizabeth James's boyfriend

Kelly is Hansworth's girlfriend

Angel Clues:

*This is one of the rare episodes that show new facets to the Angels' charm.  Chadway tells Kris he is envious of her because she "always looks for something positive".  Kris's innocence and good natured view of the world leave him with something to remember.  Sabrina makes Pavlov see that the original meaning of a cause becomes distorted through time, thus making him see that his father is wrong.  And

Bosley turns a dedicated secretary, Elizabeth, into a newly liberated woman!

*This was Dennis Cole's third and last appearance on the show.  He would go on to star in the daytime soap opera ‘The Young & the Restless’.

*Kelly reveals to Hansworth that she is "not looking for anything.  I take it as it comes", she says, "And I give it my best shot".  This has never been true of Kelly's past relationships.  See "The Tragedy of Kelly Garrett" for more on her dismal love life.

Undercover Angels:

Angel Clues:

*Where on Earth do Kris and Kelly get their guns from while jogging on the beach?  Their outfits are much too skimpy to hide anything, let alone a gun!

*This is the famous episode mentioned in association with Kate Jackson quitting  the series.  She must have thought that Twillinger's Togs were as skimpy as the plotline!

*Sarah Purcell also hosted the early reality show ‘Real People’.

Angel Clues:

*Bosley's license plate is 950 WUJ

*Even if Charlie wasn't a multi-millionaire, it is very unlikely that he would ever expect his detectives to do his book keeping!  No wonder Sabrina would be quitting soon!

*David Doyle certainly deserved his own episode, and maybe even a few more.  Even though the practical absenteeism of  the Angels is very noticeable, Bosley finally gets a chance to establish himself as more than a clumsy buffoon!

________________________________________________________

The episodes of the 1978/1979 season are pretty much in the same vein as those of the 1977/1978 season.  Kris Munroe has begun to show signs of maturity in such episodes as "Rosemary for Remembrance" and "Angel in a Box".  The character of Jill Munroe also returns, but is nothing like the Jill Munroe from the first season.  Instead of being flirtatious and bouncy, Jill is now an intensely serious race car driver who displays almost no flesh, nor her perfect teeth.   This season would include two exciting two-hour episodes in which the Angels would go on location.  In "Angels in Vegas", the season opener, the Angels solve a casino caper with special guest star Dean Martin.  In "Terror on Skis" the Angels fly off to Vale, Colorado.  The season finale, "Angels Remembered" shows the Angels gathering together to celebrate their third anniversary amidst flashbacks to some of their most memorable cases and undercover roles.
